Mousehole mouse
This tiny pottery mouse was bought in Mousehole, Cornwall many years ago. It was said to be the tiniest Mousehole mouse, and so I thought it perfect for today’s Tiny Tuesday challenge. “ In your hand”.
A day of doing this and that around the house. Including washing the sheets, which I managed to get dry outside after this mornings rain.
Also baked some Nig-Nog biscuits.
( Named after the Bradford cycling club of the same name. The clubs were for children and started in the North East where the terms were local dialect for “ boy and girl”.)
A recipe passed down in our family. Haven’t made any for ages. Included in the ingredients are Quaker Oats and golden syrup. Just enjoyed one - make that two! with a cuppa. Don’t think they will last long.
Thinking about the bees we saw yesterday, I came across this quote/saying which I rather like.
‘ Kindness in ourselves is the honey that blunts the sting of unkindness in another”.
