Loch Nevis (Loch of Heaven)

We had booked the ferry to Inverie on the Knoydart Peninsula and, despite the (very) mixed forecast we went for it anyway. We have overtrousers! Just as well. We've been to Knoydart before,  both for day trips as today and, twice, to stay. The extra shows the ancient woodlands by the coast and the main the rugged and mountainous interior. It's a treat to be back and to see how things have developed since our last visit which was, I think, nine years ago. Before I was a blipper. 

Today is our wedding anniversary. I don't suppose that this kind of day out would be to everyone's liking for a celebration but it suits us just fine. More than in fact.
