A Timeless Classic

Although the current church mainly dates from 1850, there has been a church here for over a thousand years, and was an important site on the pilgrim route from Winchester to Canterbury along the North Downs.  Even today the church is only accessible via a 15-20min uphill walk from car parks either side of the hill, but is still very active as a place of worship.
