Sunflower bank

The summer is nearly over, and our sunflowers are looking a little bit sad.  I'll certainly grow them again next year as they have thrived in that spot.

But....Martin and I are off to Crete very early tomorrow morning so have been keeping an anxious eye on the UK air traffic control problems today.  Ben is giving us a lift to Stansted at 3.00am and we are keeping our fingers crossed that there are no associated delays.  R & R is on the cards so I'm charging up my kindle and packing my bags...
