Nest

We enjoyed a lovely BBQ this afternoon celebrating Josh's 21st birthday with our friends and neighbours.  Josh is the youngest in the year of all Sam's peer group - congratulations, good luck and thank you for a lovely party today.

I was surprised and thrilled when Martin spotted this nesting pigeon in a tree very close to the house.  Since we reckon the slapdash nest has been constructed only in the last few days I'm hopeful that we'll be around for the hatching of the babies.  We had an amazing baby pigeon experience when the kids were younger and I'm rather fond of them.  (I suspect most of you aren't....)
