Nathaniel - new hair and footwear

For the Blipper who wanted to see Nathaniel’s haircut, here he is. He’s wearing new footwear he bought with some of his filming wages.

As expected I’m tired today after a hectic week of Edinburgh and then Beyond Borders, so I gave myself permission to read all afternoon. I started by deciding to finish “Stolen Focus - Why You Can’t Pay Attention” before embarking on some recent purchases from both festivals.

#2 daughter is on the second week of their holiday, now in Germany. She sent photos of them at Cafe Safran in Hanover, where she had a part-time job aged 21, when on her year’s work experience with a law firm there. She needed the money but also the law work colleagues wanted to speak to her in English so the cafe gave her more opportunities to improve her German. She says that 27 years later the cafe is still the same with the same owner too.
