Just Sitting Around

These birds are usually flying high and seldom land near me, but here they are on the powerline. I took a quick shot before they took off again. This shot was taken at the beach house, but we had to drive home tonight because Ellie was coming over. Her mommy is still here and they seem to be doing well today, but one night while we were still at the beach I got phone calls from each of them: Ellie was crying. Her mommy was angry. It was not fun getting those calls. I had to stay calm and just listen.

The extra photo is at home. I went out to check to see if there were any raspberries and sure enough, there were enough of these sweet berries to fill two pint containers. Ellie helped me pick them and she ate a pint of them for a snack tonight.
