A day of sport - rugby, cricket and athletics - all from the comfort of my sofa.
Hazel came over for a coffee in the morning - we haven't seen her for ages, she's been going to LOTS of Festival events, sometimes several in one day, in between her gym sessions. However, today is the final concert, an evening event, so she had some spare time. Lots to catch up on (mainly holidays).
Elizabeth came to take Archie out today, and JR spent a happy afternoon sorting out her holiday wardrobe, while I watched the cricket final, the last day of the athletics, and France/Australia rugby match and read the papers. Jings! The Rugby World Cup is blown wide open with the latest match scores! But my money's on France, with Fiji giving everyone a big shock.
Tomorrow - if I don't forget my appointment - I'm going to the long-awaited session with the respiratory people at the hospital. It'll be very interesting to find out how I've been breathing wrongly all my life, but the symptoms of 'hyperventilation' match mine quite closely.
