first one

My first Japanese Anemone, opened this morning. So pretty. A nice coolish day with a couple of light showers - a decent gardening day. Planted a lot of the perennial plants I’ve grown into tubs and did a load of weeding. Varnished a wooden box Rosie painted when she was here last week - she wanted it for her pens and pencils. It takes a while to dry but it’s well worth doing. And tidied up another chunk of Stewart’s shed (aka my workroom). It’s beginning to look good with lots more room.
