Swordfish

The award for winged object of the day goes to this Fairey Swordfish, which I caught just before it disappeared over the church roof. It was possibly on its way to the airshow at Rhyl, where one was scheduled to appear later in the day. This is one of those aircraft that I had an Airfix kit of as a youngster.

Later, I went down to Valley Parade to see Bradford City eke out a 1-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra.
