Day 2 Mayia, Kiotari Rhodes

Today, we had a violinist accompanying us while we ate breakfast.  It was very relaxing. Afterwards, we went for a walk around the hotel to see a bit more of the fire damage.  We planned on walking further but it was too hot and I'd got the wrong footwear on. We had a swim and an early lunch as we were planning on finding a bar to watch the World Cup final.  In the end, we kept refreshing our phones in the dining hall, waiting for updates, and then discovered that it was being shown in the reception area. We watched it with a couple of Wolves fans from Wolverhampton and were all gutted when England lost. The Lionesses have been truly inspirational and winning would have been the icing on the cake. 
Later that day, after beating Chris at Dobble and 10,000, we went to watch a show in the hotel's amphitheatre. The Jersey Tones sang and were really good.
