Big Wheels
That big wheel Isambard, inside two big green railway wheels.
We made another trip to the Steam Museum in Swindon today. It was very quiet. Rory got in for £1, though we had to 'pretend' that one of us was not a senior citizen and pay the full adult rate to get the special kids for £1 offer. Rory enjoyed it, and especially had fun with the signal box, changing the signals and points to accommodate the Royal train. He had two goes as it was so quiet.
There was the added bonus of a photographic exhibition by Jack Boskett, covering royalty, politicians and railways.
I was on the lookout for wheels, as this in one of the subjects for our camera club summer cup competition. The main blip was my best effort. It's better than anything else I have so I may have to enter it. It still needs a bit of work on the cloning in the edit. The extra is one of Jack Boskett's images. I think he does camera club presentations so I will be contacting him soon.
In the evening Rory requested a takeaway curry. I tried a new place in Burford to avoid the road closures around us after 7pm in the Bourton and Cirencester directions. While I was waiting I had another question about my T-Shirt, somebody else couldn't work it out!
Rory's mum and dad are coming to fetch him tomorrow, just a flying visit as they are off to Center Parcs on Sunday.
So I should be able to catch up with your journals on Saturday/Sunday.

It's about time I thought about a 2022 photobook.
