Lounge

A quiet morning at home catching up with reading and general this and that, before heading out to lunch - a trip to The Cheese Lounge at Mellis's in Morningside. The staff there were excellent, and the lunch deal of a cheeseboard for two and a bottle of red was absolutely delicious. A very pleasant setting indeed with a soundtrack to match - a copy of the Buena Vista Social Club album spinning away on the turntable as we ate and drank.

A trip up the road afterwards to a cafe for coffee and a shared dessert before heading to catch the matinee of new film The Blackening at the local multiplex on the way home.
