Cigs

The World Famous Livingston Skate Park

Back in the day it was all good old fashioned honest leg work, pounding the beat, keeping your eyes and ears open, guvnor.

Nowadays everything you need to know about anyone is online and readily available; you just have to have the skillz to search and the patience to stick in.

So, following the advice of my mentor, I stuck in and viola (as they say in orchestral circles) !!

Because I'd been scanning online footage of the Pieute 11th birthday bash online, the algorythm started pushing skateboarding videos. And one popped up of the Livvy Skate Jam from last weekend; some nifty manouveres to behold. All carried out over a Cigs / Theft combo.

What better way to spend a free Friday morning than to mount the bike and head into West Lothian for a traipse aboot before them there Ciglettes showed up after school.

Tony bashes lassies, apparently. There was a lot of frankly libellous stuff about Tony scrawled around the skate park.

However, the real highlight of the 40 miles on the bike happened about 50 yards away. I was standing on a bridge across the River Almond and trying to get a shot of the half submerged trolleys when as I did so, a kingfisher burred underneath me and perched on the handle of an Asda trolley!  Isn't nature wonderful?

For future reference - there's another Cigs out here that I'll need to trek out and shoot. Should anyone wish to feature, do get in touch, and I'll get my people to negotiate a suitable fee.

**further investigation shows these finds to date from June 23 when a gaggle of graff artists descended on Livvy for a wee paint**
