New Swingball Set

Orla managed to destroy the old one a couple of weeks ago and then serendipitously there were swingball sets on offer in Tesco. It’s such a fun game that requires very little space.

It was Conor’s first gym day of P6 and we were glad to hear that he had been participating. It has been drilled into him all summer that it is not optional in P6. Orla came with Dad all the way to the school to get Conor in the afternoon which made the walk home quite fun. There were even some sprint raves between the lampposts on the Zoar Road.

We have had a large rope for a while ever since Mum ordered it for the decking fence but then found it was too thick. It finally found its purpose today in a tug of war: Orla and Conor vs Dad.

There was also a bit of competition using GarageBand on the iPad. Conor and Dad both composed music and then Orla voted on which was better. Conor won.
