Manicure

I started the day with talking to my sister on the phone as I got a load of laundry going before I headed out the door to get my monthly manicure. I also got a pedicure today.

I went straight from there to the hospital to spend some time with a friend of mine who’s been in since Tuesday. I’ve known them all their life and so I’m as good as family. There was some anxiety so I just stayed and let them talk, vent, cry and anything else they needed to do.

I talked, explained a few things I knew and expressed possible reasons for things I had no way of knowing the answer to. I ended up there for 7 hours.

A day well spent I think and hope my friend thinks so too.
