Rydal Water

A drive into the lakes to meet SC for a walk around Grasmere and Rydal Water.  It was cool and grey first thing but that gave way to wonderful sunshine at lunchtime.

Our walk went from Grasmere to Penny Rock Wood, White Moss, Rydal Cave stopping at Rydal Hall for coffee.  From here the coffin route back to Grasmere.  Lunch at Baldreys (she had the rarebit and gave it the thumbs up).  A good catch up with her.

Lovely walk of just over 6 miles.
