Grasmere

We went over to the campsite early this morning to look after the children while C&N took their rather damp tent down and packed up the car.  The children had enjoyed their holiday and were visibly sad to be going home.

We went up to Grasmere this afternoon and finally managed to park having visited all car parks in the village (we do normally avoid Grasmere in the school holidays!).  We visited the Lakes Artists' exhibition in the village hall and there was some really good work on display.  From here to Blackwell for tea and then home.

Good day.  We are both still feeling rather tired from the last few days - but it was a very good visit this year.
