Sunrise on Heather
L had let me know that the heather was in bloom on Cannock Chase, so with a reasonable forecast first thing I headed to Sherbrooke Valley. This has to be a morning image as the heather is now mainly on the western slopes of the valley.
I realised it had been many weeks since I had used the tripod with graduated filters on the camera. I've really been relying on iPhoneography and hand held shots in recent months, something that is quite unusual for my photography.
Later in the day we popped to the stables and spent some time with Meg, before L went off to visit her Mom on her 83rd birthday and I joined others on a Blipfoto board meeting.
