Views of Stavanger

We were in the port of Stavanger, Norway today. We had expected it to be quite industrial but far from it, it's a pretty little city with lots of trees and plants and lovely wooden houses. The weather was very kind to us again, a heavy downpour during breakfast, then sunshine all day.
We walked miles and miles, firstly to the Stavanger Art Museum, which has a mix of old and new exhibits, my favourites are in the extra. Gormley's "Must" was nice to see along with some beautiful tapestries.
After a quick open sandwich, we headed to the Printing and Canning Museum, both important industries in Stavanger's past.
It's been a lovely day, back onboard now to head to Shetland, starting our journey home.
