Paella
I went down to the market in town before eight am to avoid the heat but by the time I got home it was already approaching 30 degrees. There were seven pans of paella and meatballs (boles de picolat - a local speciality) and other dishes on the go. That is nearly twice the usual quantity, so I imagine they do good business with the tourists. I had to climb up to the Mairie twice to get a form signed by the Maire for HMRC proving that I am still alive! I then sent it off in the post. Jeff came round in the afternoon to do some translation for posters that will be displayed on the National Heritage weekend in September.
