Perennial Cornflower

perennial - adjective - lasting or existing for a long or apparently infinite time; enduring or continually recurring:

I "inherited" this plant when I moved in around 20 years ago, and it has produced these spikey blue-purple flowers every spring / early summer ever since.

Every year I point a camera at it, so here is my perennial photo :)
