Little Venice

This morning we were up at some ridiculous hour to catch the 7 am bus from Street to London: we’re spending a couple of nights here to enjoy a special treat tomorrow.

We managed to negotiate our way from Hammersmith to Ealing via a couple of buses (made use of our old gits free bus pass!), dropped our cases at the hotel then headed to Paddington to walk a bit of the Grand Union and Regents canals. Got as far as Regents Park where we stopped by the boating lake for a restorative ice crea before retracing our steps and enjoying drinks by the canal and a meal at Wagamama.

Wi-Fi slow and limited at hotel so got to post and run.
