The Granddogs

Look who have come to stay with us…again. Oreo (left) and Buzz (right) were delivered here at lunchtime by their humans, who have gone to stay in a Yurt somewhere in the Yorkshire Dales for a couple of nights.


I had already been for a walk this morning (2.9 miles) but I decided to take these two livewires out this afternoon..another 2.9 miles (different route) and I managed to get them to sit still long enough to grab a photo of them! They should sleep for the rest of the evening now.

We had a slight car ‘emergency’ today…I was giving Mrs madwill’s car a quick check over before arranging to take it for its MOT test…and I discovered that BOTH front tyres were seriously worn just on the outside edge..one of them had canvas showing through the rubber…so it was effectively unroadworthy…eeekkk!

So a quick call to the garage in the village to see if they could help us out…and yes, they will arrange to replace the tyres, fix whatever is causing the problem, and service and MOT it. It may be a few days…and presumably we can expect a hefty bill at the end of it…
