Why get a trampoline..
when you can enjoy next door’s!
Everybody had a late morning. John didn’t feel well when he got home so he took to his bed as soon as he’d had the dinner we’d made. (This has happened before) Grace was going to a party! She’d got her dates mixed up so as soon as we got the girls to bed, I read stories to both, she was off to the early hours!
There had been talk of Alice Park and cycling but we ended up having coffee and fresh croissants from the village whilst watching the football. We usually just wait for the result of these things so maybe the fact that we watched had a negative impact on the outcome!
The girls got a bit bored with it so went next door where they are very sporty ( mainly hockey I think ) but it looks like their daughter Piper wasn’t that engaged either. I could hear them out there at the back so went up to our room to take this picture. Eda was in there too to start with but I liked this of Jude in full bounce and Pipes is semi obscured by the foliage.
John bravely made us a lovely late brunch before declaring he was off back to bed. I hope he’s better soon.
Gave Grace a hand with some washing before we left. She said it’s was really nice to have us there when they arrived back.
I’m now sorting my own washing, always the worst part of returning from holiday. We’ve had a lovely time, so lucky to be able to visit such a delightful area. Lots of history, pretty gardens and Cotswold villages and great landscapes and cityscapes. We’ll be back - in a few weeks!
