Lots of activity today…

Watched the game this morning. Hard luck, Matildas - Sweden were just too good for you. But 4th best in the world is an excellent result.

After the football, there was the Athletic Championships in Budapest, so I watched quite a bit of that. Great! And then, this afternoon, I was delighted to find that a 100 Cricket match was on. A day of activity indeed, and none of it was mine.

JR went to the gym, of course, and I decided that I should have a bit of activity of my own, and so I accompanied JR and Archie on their walk. There was quite an unpleasant strong wind, so we didn't head for the Meadows to be blown away. We headed for Summerhall, but the crowds outside out us off, so we walked along to a wee cafe we haven't been in for ages, and shared a nice toasted sandwich.

We then walked back along the road - and lo! A bus was just coming - too good an opportunity. Archie didn't mind as JR was going to take him out further after depositing me back home.

More athletics this evening - just as well JR LOVES her new phone and doesn't really watch tv anyway...
