DUBLIN ~DAY 3

Today was all about the black stuff!!

After packing we found a little cafe on route to The Guinness Storehouse about 30 mins walk away.
We lined our stomachs with a full Irish breakfast ready for our tasting session:))
#great exhibition with lots of old memorabilia.
#always a photo opportunity.
#A selfie by the water feature…it takes 3 pints of water to make a pint of Guinness
#The barley is roasted at 232 degrees. 1 more and it would catch fire.
#some lovely modern elements in the exhibition…reflecting on all the various adverts.
#300 million bubbles in every pint.
#a great cooperage exhibition…this was a gigantic pint made out of a barrel with the most elaborate decoration.
#after our taster session we got a free pint. It’s not my thing but I loved the Guinness lager.
#the views from the roof top bar were stunning. We could see across to the Wicklow Mountains.
It took us over 3 hours to enjoy this trip.

What a great way to end our visit to Dublin…now onto the airport…and yet again Ryanair was a good experience.
We were home by 10:30

Happy and exhausted!!
