Carlton Hill and the Firth of Forth

Carlton Hill and the view to the Firth of Forth as seen from the North Bridges in Edinburgh. Carlton Hill is the site if the old observatory and many monuments. It's an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The glass structure in the foreground is the roof is Waverley train station and the building to the right Edinburgh City Council Offices (you can't quite see its grass roof and cow statue!). This is the view I had when I used to wait for my bus home from work.

Went to see the Henry Girls - a group of Irish sisters - play this evening. Beautiful melodies. A special evening.
