Beesands

Just a mile from our campsite to the beach so we set forth with a spring in our step. Nowhere has it been evident in the planning that the mile was up and down two of the steepest hills ever. We earnt our bloody Marys and strengthened our glutes all at the same time.

A walk on the beach looking at the wild seas then a slap up fish lunch where we worked the menu beautifully. Whistled ourselves up a taxi as we couldn’t face the hills again. And then set ourselves up in my new awning tent as it pissed down for the rest of the afternoon. This is not a problem at all, we played lots of splendor, sang our favourite Wham songs and ate cheese. Rosie mainly took against the tent, preferring to stand outside in the wind and rain, pain in the arse she was.

Tomorrow it will be sunny and we have a fine campsite day planned. We will be busy busy with reading, cooking nice food, playing games and a walk in the non hilly woods.
