Family at the Light
This is daughter Karen, grandson Merrick, and wife Lisa at the Old Mackinac Lighthouse. I had to force them out of bed to make the 9 a.m. breakfast cut-off, and after breakfast we went down to the shore and to the lighthouse.
It is a beauty of a light, wonderfully redone and open to the public for a 10 dollar entry.
We took off after seeing the light, and headed down the shoreline of Lake Michigan...until it started raining at about 5 p.m. After seeing the forecast, instead of staying "Up North", we decided to head for home, arriving at about 10:30 p.m.
A nice couple of days. A picture of the lighthouse is in my extras.
