A bucket full of manky old balls

This afternoon we went out for a 9 mile walk. Yay!

This morning Ann did a half hour swim, followed by an Aquafit class. She was going to go into the gym afterwards but couldn't be bothered. Oh and she weighed herself today and she's 1 lb heavier than she was, a month ago, before she started this ridiculous ''Summer Fitness Plan 2023'. How can that be? Since the 20th July she has done 28 gym/swim/fitness classes and nothing seems to be making any difference to her fitness levels or weight???????

Moving swiftly on............................. my walk this afternoon was fab! And do you want to know what the most fabby part of my walk today was..................... It was walking past the 'Waters of Leith Visitors Centre' and finding this bucket full of manky old balls. Yay!!! I was in doggy heaven. How often does a doggie come across a whole bucket full of manky old balls. I wanted to take them all home. Mmmmmm.................... unfortunately that wasn't possible because I can only fit one ball in my mouth, and Ann said that to take more than one would be really greedy!!!!
I choose the red one and I carried it all the way home.

Our 9 mile walk today took us though the grounds of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Craiglockhart Woods, the Union Canal, the Waters of Leith & Colinton Dell, Redford Woods, Colinton Mains Park, Braidburn Valley Park, Hemitage of Braid & Blackford Pond and the grounds of the Astley Ainsley Hospital.

What a fabulous afternoon. No wonder I've been snoozing in my bed since 4.15pm.............

Happy Thursday Evening Blippers. xxxx
