Chaffinch and roses

I was amused at how thoroughly the chaffinch was washing himself in the bird bath this morning, he was practically upside down trying to get his head in. Just like washing his hair.. 
It was (Not) walking group this afternoon and when we got to the mart there was a huge sheep sale on with farmers filling the restaurant and a huge queue at the counter.  So we all went into Dingwall and found plenty space in Tesco. There are going to be sheep sales for the next 6 weeks so we will continue to meet in Tesco. Foloh was shopping in Tesco and came and joined us when he was finished.  He had bought me these lovely roses and the ladies were all thrilled at how romantic he was.
