A Moth

We met up with daughter and granddaughters for lunch at J32 near Castleford…almost school term time so the children needed feet measuring and new shoes.

Whilst waiting, I spotted this fabulous moth crawling around on the ground…sadly it kept falling over and walking in circles, so I suspect it may not have had long left on this earth.

It provided me with a blip opportunity…I believe it to be a Poplar Hawk-Moth. Just a quick phone grab shot.

We waited in all morning for a guy who was supposed to be coming to cut our hedges…not a word from him so far and now it is almost tea time, so I suspect he may not be coming today!
