Vicar of Dibley Day

It's the only picture I have taken today and a friend encouraged me to post it due to the story. So here goes ...

The day started with the scales being kind to me and showing a -ve figure :-)
I had two visits booked for mid day and afternoon, the first included lunch. After sandwiches, a tray of medium sized chocolate eclairs were brought out. I was encouraged to have a second as a treat. 

I then went on to the 2pm visit. After half an hour I was offered a cup of tea. With the tea came a plate with two of these tarts and two small trifles. I was just think "oh!" when another plate with two medium sized pork pies were brought out. All had been bought especially for my visit. Well, it would have been rude to say no! I managed the pork pie and a trifle, I ended up bringing the tart home. Well, at least I didn't need any tea. :-))

In case you don't know, "The Vicar of Dibley" was a TV comedy and there was a great episode of the Vicar being invited to various Christmas dinners all on the same day.
