Flowers in a jug

The day was punctuated by a rearranged band rehearsal which took place over lunchtime and carried on til later in the afternoon. This meant both the morning and afternoon were rather squeezed. All ended well.

We managed a walk when Susan got home from seeing her mum. Nice sunset but no real opportunity to capture it.

Thank you for your lovely comments about Landon’s first day at proper school. He’s in kindergarten which is the equivalent of Y1 here.

We were sent a photo of him at the end of his first day. He was wearing a hat that said “I rocked my first day at Kindergarten”. He was looking very pleased with himself. I don’t expect he realises how many more days he has to put in til the end of his schooling!

The flowers came from the garden and were arranged by Susan.
