Taith dywys
Taith dywys ~ Guided tour
“For art comes to you proposing frankly to give nothing but the highest quality to your moments as they pass, and simply for those moments’ sake.”
― Walter Pater

Mae Samten yn arbenigwr am reoli tir a heddiw aeth e â ni am daith dywys o'r tir ac yn drafod am ei hanes a'r dyfodol. Gwnaeth Nor'dzin yn gwneud fideo e a bydd hi'n mynd fideos bach ar gael pan mae amser gyda hi.
Roedd un o gynlluniau Samten i'w disodli'n raddol yr hen goed pinwydd, dros ddeng mlynedd, gyda rhywogaethau brodorol syn gwell i'r tir. Yna, daeth Storm Arwen (2021), oedd yn wastad llawer o'r coed binwydd. Felly roedd gwaith deng mlynedd gwneud mewn dwy noson. Roedd llawer o lanast wrth gwrs, ond roedden ni'n gallu ei glirio.
Dydw i ddim yn meddwl yr ymdrinnir â chynlluniau eraill Samten gyda'r fath ffyrnigrwydd hudolus. Bydd rhaid i ni fynd yn araf nawr.

Samten is an expert in land management and today he took us on a guided tour of the land and discussed its history and future. Nor'dzin made a video of it and she will make small videos available when she has time.
One of Samten's plans was to gradually replace the old pine trees, over ten years, with native species that are better for the land. Then came Storm Arwen (2021), which leveled many of the pine trees. So ten years work was done in two nights. There was a lot of mess of course, but we were able to clear it up.
I don't think Samten's other plans will be dealt with such magical ferocity. We'll have to go slow now.
