Hiker

Bj hiked Stratton Mountain today. Mace and I stayed with the Van at the trailhead. This trailhead connects with the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail. Through hikers came by us throughout the morning. We made friends with three ladies that stopped to pet Mace. We offered to refill their water and gave them fruit and veggies. Eating protein bars and drinking muddy spring water clearly has its limits. They were thrilled at my offerings and I was happy to provide for them.

We explored the town center today, yes indeed it was the filming location for Funny Farm hoping to find the covered bridge seen in the movie as well. There are a LOT of CUTE towns in this area. Clearly the community takes great pride in their town, and it’s appearance. Beautiful drives and charming villages. It was a great day!!
