Sissinghurst Gardens
Taken from the top of the tower overlooking Sissinghurst gardens where the whole family went today. The gardens was amazing and had some unusual plants in them that you don’t usually see in English country gardens. It is a National Trust property that was owned by Vita Sackvilke West and her husband. She was a writer and perhaps more famously known for her affair with Virginia Woolf. It was very interesting to learn all about the history and see where Vita used to write in the tower. See extras. We had a lovely cream tea in the cafe.
We then had a lazy time in the garden and said goodbye to some of the family who had to head back north.
