Fourteen

"A flock of fourteen feathered fidgets"!

The way Rainbow Lorikeets hop around it's a wonder that I can ever get a single clear photo of any of them. They really are the fidgets of the bird-world.

This morning I counted fourteen Lorikeets congregated around the bread bowl. At times I have to wonder if they are here to eat breakfast, or to see who can fling the bread the furthest! They are the messiest of eaters, but I love them visiting, and they bring colour into even the greyest of days.

I managed to get thirteen into one photo, you'll have to take my word for it that there were fourteen. :)))
