The back gate…

… of our beautiful cottage garden which ended a lovely walk this morning.

We pootled into Ansty village and booked our evening meal at The Fox, then five of us followed the route of one the walks in a guide book here at the cottage. It took us through woods, along the boundaries of harvested fields and over little streams. A circular walk of about two hours. Perfect.

This afternoon we’ve mostly sat, read, chatted, puzzled, even dozed. Then those who could, walked to The Fox for dinner, and back again. A lovely day.
