Not quite ready to eat

After an uncertain start to the day, an overcast sky gave way to a sudden downpour. It didn't last long and cleared the air. Then the sun came out and shone for most of the rest of the day. The strawberries are lapping it all up, blooming beautifully. These ones are still in containers in the back yard, being too old (from 2009) to plant out in the new strawberry patch. But they seem to be thriving, having a better blossom than any of their children.
