Cherry blossom time!

The good weather continues, and the effect on the garden has been quite remarkable. My plants seem to be making up for the long, cold spring by responding with an exuberant flourish.

The good weather has also meant that the outside work on our extension is almost finished, with the decking going in this week. It's been a long haul but boy it's going to be worth it. We are so looking forward to settling into our new "granny flat" and to the return of the grandchildren in a couple of weeks! And, of course, to the impending nuptials at the end of the month.
