Itchy

Since the Rainbow Lorikeets discovered the dish in my garden, which I refill every day with mushy bread, more and more have been visiting and I have had the opportunity to get to know these beautifully coloured birds a little better.

Like all the other birds who visit, they each have their own personalities. I'm noticing there are some birds who are shy, some more aggressive and they all are very messy eaters!

This pair of pretties enjoyed a lovely quiet moment together after their lunch, scratching away at their feathers, and when they couldn't quite get the right spot themselves, their mate scratched it for them.
