Sunrise and sport

We are loving the wide open views from our windows.  This morning I took a photo of the sunrise from the bathroom window and a bit later a photo of Saturday morning sport from the lounge window.  There’s always something to see.

We took the car to town to pick up our purchases from yesterday, which we weren’t able to carry home as we were on foot.  MrMacD bought some plants, we bought a mirror to go in the walk-in wardrobe and some containers to enable us to easily sort the various categories for the Resource Recovery Park.  Quite a successful morning.

After lunch MrMacD got on with work on the mirror we purchased recently.  He’s sanding the metal and wood and then we’ll decide whether to varnish or paint the wood.  I unpacked the various items for the bed in the third bedroom and made it up.  It now looks like a bedroom.  We went out for a brief walk and got sprinkled with rain on the way back.

We watched a couple of shows on TV on MrMacD’s iPad whilst also keeping an eye on the France vs Australia semi-final game (we couldn’t watch it as it took place in Brisbane).  Australia won on penalties 7-6.  Not a good way to win a game I think.
