Stained Glass

We spent the morning at Puzzlewood, where Tolkien was inspired to write Lord of the Rings. It was lovely as we arrived at opening time and there were very few people in the woods. However when we stopped and went back to the café for lunch the queue to get in was back to the car park! We decided not to go back in after lunch as we felt we would be tripping over people.

So we headed into the Forest proper and picked up part of the sculpture trail, where we found this stained glass. we will come back here in a couple of years when W can cycle further independently. The cycle tracks look really good. After a good walk we headed back to the tent and both kids hit there bikes, W needing less and less help to get going!
