FENCED IN

Well the fencers came bright and early again this morning, one man down but still that didn't matter.  They just get on with the job in hand.  We supply drinks and they just don't stop.  They were finished by 12:15 - amazing.

So this is one gate to one side of our bungalow, we have another one on the other side with the fence going all the way round.   We've had it done simply like this because we are surrounded by hedges and a dry stone wall, the old fence was rotting and was more or less that same as this and the fence is bird friendly as they love to zip between the slats and they do nest in the hedges.  Which is why we've not had it done until now, to make sure there was no nesting going on.   

It's a shame we didn't know they were going to finish by lunch time because Hubby had to go to Flookburgh Surgery to have some bloods taken and we were going to call into the wonderful cafe at Brooke Supplies there, but I had already prepared lunch, so that will have to be put on hold until next week.  Hey ho another reason to visit them.
