Day's end

While waiting for my order of Hake and chips for hubby, and grilled Calamari and rice for me this evening, I went to this nearby lake where these Egyptian Geese were enjoying a leisurely swim.
 Public holiday here today (Women's day) - I enjoyed a wonderful quiet day with my nose in a book. Not often I sit in the sun and just read.. Hubby and I also did some planning for a couple of road trips later in the year.
I did some lead work with Pumpkin who is going for an assessment tomorrow with a dog trainer to see what we can do about the correct type of collar that she can't wriggle out of!!
Another beautiful day - some cloud after the lovely soft rain we had during the night.
