The tiniest tortoise

This Angulate tortoise was found in the garden today. It is the smallest tortoise I've ever seen. I was worried about leaving it in the garden with the dogs and large birds around. I contacted our  local conservation expert (and snake catcher) for advice and he fetched it to release it in a safe place where it will hopefully survive.
Sadly our good friend M in hospital had a cardiac arrest this morning and died soon after. He was hubby's good friend of many years and he is feeling so  sad. RIP Mike.
