On This Day In History
1945: Atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki

Quote Of The Day
"We cannot and must not allow ourselves to have the message of Hiroshima and Nagasaki fade from our minds, and we cannot allow our visions or ideals to fade either. For if we do, we have but one course left for us. And that flash of light will not only rob us of our vision, but it will rob us of our lives, our progeny and our very existence."
(Tadatoshi Akiba)

Another day at the Koshien High School Baseball Tournament today. I watched two games rather than the three I watched on Monday. By the time I left 13:30, after enjoying five and a half hours of baseball, the temperature was up to 37 degrees C. One player has just had to leave the field with a heat related injury.

Monday I focused on the players in Blipfoto; today, some of the sights around the stadium. Not a very good stitched panorama as the main, I know, but you get the idea.

A fun circus, but let's not forget what happened to Nagasaki on this day in 1945.
