Newport OR

My son, grandchildren and I arrived in Newport Oregon this afternoon. Just a 2 1/2 hr drive from my house into a whole ‘nother world. We’re staying in a magical place called Starfish Point, a group of condos on a cliff overlooking Agate Beach just north of Newport.

We went down to the beach - down a set of very steep stairs - after we arrived mid-afternoon. My granddaughter’s joy is evident in the main. After dinner we went out to the nightly bonfire and toasted marshmallows for s’mores - see extra.
